It is recommended that spas and hot tubs be drained every 30-90 days. More often under heavy use. Consult manufacturers recommendations concerning the compatibility of chlorine sanitizers with their equipment. Spas should be drained and cleaned at least every 60 days or whenever water becomes difficult to manage or keep clear. Both oils, salts and lotions should not be used unless specifically formulated for use in spas and hot tubs as they can lead to cloudy water. Routine Maintenance: With pump on, add 1/2 teaspoon of this product per 100 gallons of water as an initial treatment. Repeat at 15 to 20 minute intervals until a residual of 3-5 ppm of available chlorine is established as determined by test kit. A test kit must be used regularly to determine the frequency of additional doses of this product needed to maintain the chlorine residual of 3-5 ppm. Superchlorination: Use 1 teaspoon of this product per 100 gallons of water. Superchlorination may be needed on a nightly basis in a heavy used spa or as infrequently as once a week in a moderately used spa.

13. iONRx Hot Tub Treatment - Eliminate Chemical Smells - Great for Sensitive Skin - No Rashes - Add Ultra Low Chlorine to Sanitize - Bromine and Enzyme Alternative

Feature

All natural way to eliminate harmful bacteria and contaminants, Stabilizes pH
Chlorine and Bromine Alternative, EPA tested natural cleaner that's as safe as drinking water
Used for over 10 years by hospitals and spa professionals - now available for residential hot tubs
Eliminating rashes, itching, coughing, and sneezing - No more chemical smell!!
Just add once a week, 4 oz. per 100 gallons

Description

Do you have itchy skin, coughing, sneezing, or rashes while in your hot tub? Are you tired of the chemical smell or feeling gross from your hot tub? Eliminate it, most of the cholorine, and all of the work with iONRx.

My daughter has a chlorine allergy and that's why we created iONRx. iONRx has been used commercially for over a decade and is now available for residential hot tubs.

It's been tested by the EPA and received CAT IV clearance meaning it is as safe as drinking water!

iONRx is one of the most effective natural, chemical free hot tub treatments on the market and will sanitize better and longer than any competitor. If you thought your hot tub was clean before, you'll be shocked at what iONRx will do.

No hassle, no smell and clear water. Get back to enjoying your hot tub rather than avoiding your hot tub because of chemical smells or sensitivity to chemicals like chlorine. Our customers go from never being able to enjoy their hot tub to using it 2-3 times a week or more. Never use anything else again and never worry about what's getting on your skin or in your blood!

An oxidizer is still required and we recommend chlorine. With iONRx, it's tap water levels of chlorine. Other products require crazy high levels of chlorine because it evaporates out and you end up bathing in toxic chemicals that cause respiratory issues, rashes and more. But not with iONRx!

Check out our starter kits too! For reviews, directions, info and live chat visit our site ionrx.com - we're new to Amazon!

Directions:
Step #1: Test Water

Start with clear, balanced water (pH and alkalinity). If not, drain and refill spa.

Step #2: Add iONRx

Add 4 oz. of iONRx per 100 gallons directly to spa water every week.

Step #3: Choose Oxidizer

Choose an oxidizer. Tap water levels of chlorine are needed in order to keep your water crystal clear.
