10. Genesis Revisited: Live At The Royal Albert Hall [2 CD + 1 DVD]
DescriptionLimited three disc (two CDs + NTSC/Region 0 DVD). 2014 live release from the former Genesis guitarist. One of the great musical triumphs of 2013 was unquestionably Steve Hackett's stellar performance at the Royal Albert Hall in October. This was a remarkable night, when the guitarist didn't so much revisit his Genesis roots, as reimagine them, to use a well-known Hollywood term. While the night was dubbed GENESIS REVISITED, what was really impressive was the joyous manner in which he and his carefully chosen band immersed themselves in the flow and timbre of some of the most iconic songs of all time, thereby creating an experience that brought a lifetime's achievement for Hackett into bold focus for the 21st Century.

12. Peter Gabriel 1
DescriptionOriginally released in February 1977. Remastered in 2002. The first of three solo albums by the ex-Genesis singer, all officially released as only "Peter Gabriel". There was much anticipation for the first solo effort from the flamboyant Gabriel. Three years had passed since his swan song with Genesis. He had certainly exited on a high note with "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway". While fans shouldn't have worried about the survival of Genesis without their original lead singer, neither would they be disappointed in his solo debut. Produced by Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper), he addressed the split with his band mates in the allegoric hit "Solsbury Hill", while retaining the art-rock sensibilities he had pioneered. There are other concert favorites, such as "Moribund The Burgermeister", "Modern Love", "Excuse Me", "Humdrum", "Slowburn", "Waiting For the Big One", "Down The Dolce Vita" (featuring the London Symphony Orchestra) and "Here Comes The Flood".
